Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK has a very simple objective – to grant truly magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. The charity was founded in the UK in 1986 and since then has granted over 6,000 wishes.
With over 20,000 children in the UK living with life-threatening conditions, our aim is to ensure that every one of these children is able to experience the magic and joy of a
Make-A-Wish wish.
We receive no government funding or lottery grants, relying instead on the generous donations of the public. That’s why for our charity every donation really counts.
