We have. And we came to the decision that all those basics that we all have, need and buy are pretty powerful things indeed.
Why? Because everyday we make ‘dead purchases’ – Each one a wasted opportunity to make a positive impact somewhere where its needed. Every time we buy one of these basic items by default, all we do is put more cash into one big pot, benefitting no one but the pots owner.
No Equal believes we can change this. We believe that the way we shop can actively change the lives of others, even if all you’re buying is a new pair of socks. Which is why 10% of our revenue (not just our profits) is channelled into supporting outstanding charities that help under-privileged young people pro-actively improve and transform their lives.
It’s not rocket science, but we think it’s just as important.
